Jagatsinghpur, Mar 9: A major road accident occurred near Saanpur Chhak today when a passenger bus named 'Jogamaya' lost control and rammed into a residential house. The incident left more than ten passengers injured, with three reported to be in critical condition.

According to reports, the bus was traveling from Paradip to Naugaon via Jagatsinghpur when the driver lost balance near Saanpur Chhak. The vehicle, carrying over 40 passengers, veered off the road and crashed into a nearby house, causing panic among residents and travelers alike.

Following the incident, several persons sustained injuries.

Emergency services responded swiftly, with 108 ambulances rushing to the scene. The injured were immediately transported to the Jagatsinghpur District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.

While most of the injured sustained minor injuries, three individuals remain in serious condition and are under close medical supervision.

Reportedly, police have begun investigating into the circumstances of the accident, focusing on whether mechanical failure or driver negligence played a role.
