Khordha, Nov 7: In a major anti-narcotics operation, police on Friday seized 150 grams of brown sugar and Rs 34,000 in cash from three persons at Batamangala Road, Khordha.

The identity of the arrested accused were not revealed immediately.

According to police sources, the estimated market value of the seized brown sugar is around Rs 15 lakh.

Acting on a tip-off about an ongoing drug transaction, a special team conducted a raid at Batamangala Road and apprehended the suspects.

Khordha SDPO Nihar Ranjan Pradhan confirmed the development.
