Bhubaneswar, Oct 1: The Government Railway Police (GRP) on Wednesday arrested a youth while allegedly attempting to smuggle a large quantity of ganja at Bhubaneswar Railway Station.
The accused, identified as Papu Kumar, hails from Bihar's Nalanda district.
Acting on reliable inputs, the Government Railway Police (GRP) and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) conducted a joint operation. During this, the police personnel caught the accused with 30 kilograms of ganja concealed in the luggage.

✨According to officials, the accused had transported the contraband from Phulbani and was en route to Bihar via Bhubaneswar.
The ganja was seized and the accused was taken into custody. While a case has been registered into the incident, further investigation is underway to uncover the broader network behind the smuggling operation.
