Cuttack, Nov 30: Tickets for the India–South Africa T20 International, scheduled to be played on December 9 at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, will go on sale from December 1, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) announced on Sunday.
Earlier, OCA secretary Sanjaya Behera had said that online sales will open first, giving fans the option to book early through authorised digital platforms. Offline sales for OCA-affiliated clubs and partner organisations will be conducted on December 3 and 4. Tickets for the general public will be available at six designated counters in Cuttack on December 5 and 6.
Behera said arrangements have been strengthened to ensure a smooth ticketing process across both online and offline modes. Crowd-management measures will be implemented around the counters, and buyers will be required to carry valid ID proof for verification.
The OCA has released a tiered pricing structure to accommodate different categories of spectators. General stands will be priced between Rs 800 and Rs 1,000, premium stands between Rs 1,500 and Rs 2,000, and corporate or upper-tier seating between Rs 2,500 and Rs 3,000. Officials said the structure is aimed at keeping the match accessible to a broad base of fans while offering enhanced viewing options for those seeking premium facilities.
Meanwhile, preparations for the high-profile T20I are underway at Barabati Stadium. On November 21, a seven-member technical team from IIT Bhubaneswar had inspected the galleries and overall stadium infrastructure. The assessment focused on structural stability, spectator safety and load-bearing capacity of the stands ahead of the international fixture.
