A seven-member expert team from IIT Bhubaneswar Friday visited the stadium to assess the condition of the galleries and overall infrastructure.

The inspection comes amid growing concerns about spectator safety and readiness of the venue ahead of the high-profile international fixture.

The team is expected to submit its detailed report soon, which will guide authorities in ensuring that the stadium meets safety and operational standards before the match.
