Balasore, Jan 21: The Balasore Police has issued a strong advisory urging citizens to exercise caution and responsibility while using social media platforms.


The advisory specifically warns against posting messages that incite hatred or cause harm to individuals or communities based on religion, caste, or other identities.


Police officials stated that any violation of these guidelines will invite strict legal action, emphasizing that harmful or inflammatory posts will not be tolerated. The advisory further encouraged people to report such content either directly to the concerned social media platforms or to the Cyber Police Station for immediate redressal.


Highlighting the seriousness of the issue, the police cautioned that consequences could be severe if rules are broken. At the same time, the advisory appealed to the public to promote accurate and constructive information online, fostering a safer and more responsible digital environment.
