15 Students Hospitalised After Suspected Food Poisoning

Cuttack, Oct 29: Around 15 students of Ravenshaw University were taken ill and are reportedly undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

According to reports, the students complained of food poisoning, including vomiting and diarrhoea shortly after dinner.

Following this, the victims were rushed to the hospital.

Currently, the health condition of all the students are stable, according to a senior doctor of the hospital.

Preliminary reports suggests a possible case of food poisoning, however, laboratory analysis of collected samples is underway to confirm the exact cause.

The results of these tests will provide clarity on the source and nature of the illness, enabling appropriate follow-up actions.
