New Delhi, Sep 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held a telephone conversation with United States President Donald Trump, during which the two leaders reviewed progress in key areas of bilateral cooperation and discussed regional and global developments.

The conversation also focused on strengthening the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to expanding cooperation across multiple sectors for the mutual benefit of their citizens.

India and the United States have witnessed significant growth in bilateral ties in recent years, particularly in areas such as defence cooperation, technology partnerships, supply chain resilience and energy security.
