New Delhi, Nov 26: Indian women's cricket team star Smriti Mandhana's father Srinivas has returned home after being discharged from the hospital. He was admitted to the hospital following a heart attack.

Doctors have confirmed that Srinivas is now out of danger, and he has returned home following treatment. The family, however, has not yet announced a new date for the wedding.

Following the medical emergency, Smriti and Palash Muchhal, had postponed their wedding ceremony, which was supposed to take place on Sunday.  Later, both families issued multiple updates confirming that the wedding ceremony has been postponed indefinitely.

Suspense Over Wedding Date Continues

While Srinivas has since been discharged and is stable, the families have not shared any update on rescheduling the festivities. Adding to the suspense, Smriti deleted all pictures and videos of her pre-wedding celebrations from Instagram. Even her Team India teammates, including Jemimah Rodrigues, reportedly removed certain clips from social media. This move has left fans puzzled, sparking rumours and speculation online about the future of the ceremony.

Meanwhile, another setback has emerged: Palash Muchhal has been admitted to SVR Hospital in Goregaon, Mumbai.

According to sources, continuous travel for concerts and wedding-related commitments left him severely stressed, eventually affecting his health. His condition is currently under observation, and clarity on his recovery is awaited.

The double health crisis has cast a shadow over what was expected to be one of the most celebrated weddings in recent times, leaving fans and well-wishers anxious for updates from the families.
