Mumbai, Aug 22: Recalling her admiration for Karishma Kapoor in the 1990s, actress and politician Kangana Ranaut said she used to worship the “OG fashionista” during that era.

On Saturday, Kangana took to the Stories section of her official Instagram handle and published a picture of herself from her teenage days.

The throwback photo showed young Kangana posing in dungarees with a yellow T-shirt underneath. We could also see a blue sweater tied around her waist. This look with dungarees and a shirt or sweater tied around the waist had been made popular by Karisma in many of her movies back in the 90s.

"Who all worshipped original fashionista @therealkarismakapoor in the 90s 's ha ha!! I definitely did (sic)," read the text on the photograph.

The 'Queen' actress had also added the song 'Le Gayi Le Gayi' from the 1997 release 'Dil To Pagal Hai ' as the background score. The iconic drama featured Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor as the core cast.

"Aaj Mumbai ke Raja Shree Siddhivinayak ji aur Mumbai ki Mata Shri Mumba Devi ke darshan kiye," Kangana captioned the post.
