Mumbai, Jan 22: Actor Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt, who have been in a relationship for some time, have decided to live together and will soon move into a new residence in Mumbai. Khan confirmed the development in a recent interview, putting an end to speculation around the couple’s living arrangements.

According to reports, the new home has been selected close to the residences of Khan’s family members, a decision aimed at maintaining family proximity.


Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Khan confirmed that the move is underway amid professional commitments. “This is all happening in the middle of my production film Happy Patel releasing, so it’s a rather hectic phase,” he said.

No Immediate Plans for Marriage
Khan clarified that he and Spratt do not currently plan to marry. “Gauri and I are very serious about each other. We are in a committed relationship and we are partners,” he said. He added that while marriage holds emotional meaning for him, a formal decision would be taken in due course.

Past Marriages and Family
Khan married Reena Dutta in 1986. The couple has two children, Ira Khan and Junaid Khan, and separated in 2002 after 16 years of marriage. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. They have a son, Azad Rao Khan, born via surrogacy, and announced their separation in 2021.

Despite the separations, Khan maintains cordial relationships with both former spouses. They are frequently seen together at family gatherings and festivals with their children.

Relationship with Gauri Spratt
Khan publicly confirmed his relationship with Spratt around his 60th birthday in early 2025. At a press interaction held at the time, he said the two had first met nearly 25 years ago and later reconnected through his cousin, Nuzhat Khan. He described the relationship as stable and said he felt “settled” with Spratt.


Earlier, during an appearance on the chat show Too Much with Twinkle and Kajol, Khan spoke about his views on commitment, stating that emotional commitment mattered more to him than formal marital documentation.


It can be mentioned here that Gauri Spratt is a Bengaluru-based entrepreneur and mother of a six-year-old son. She studied styling and photography at the University of the Arts, London, and runs a BBlunt salon in Mumbai. Spratt has known actor Aamir Khan for over 25 years and has worked with his production company; the couple publicly acknowledged their relationship in 2025.
