Bhubaneswar, Dec 15: Hollywood star Priyanka Chopra recently took to social media to pay a heartfelt tribute to John Cena, honouring the WWE icon after he officially retired from professional wrestling after a historic and emotional final match.

John Cena, widely regarded as one of the most influential wrestler in WWE history, brought down the curtain on his 24-year career on December 13, 2025 at WWE's Saturday Night main event in Washington, DC.

Facing rising star Gunther in his final match, John Cena ultimately tapped out marking the first time in decades that he submitted and ceremoniously left his wristband and shoes in the ring before offering a final salute to fans.

In a heartfelt post, Chopra acknowledged John Cena's "Unwavering Dedication" and his ability to connect with the audiences across countries and continents. Taking pictures of the former WWE star to her official Instagram story Priyanka wrote, "A remarkable journey, Thankyou @johncena," leaving fans emotional.
