Odisha CM Directs All Collectors To Remove Illegal Encroachment On Govt Land

Bhubaneswar, July 8: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday directed all the District Collectors to initiate steps to remove illegal encroachment from government land, both in urban areas and rural areas across the State.
 

"The government lands are mainly used for development and public welfare works. The development work has been adversely affected due to the illegal encroachment of government land. Therefore, these illegal encroachments must be removed immediately," the Chief Minister said.

CM Majhi also directed the District Collectors to put up proper signboards after clearing all encroachments and protect the government land by fencing the area so that it would be visible and known to the general public.
