Puri, Dec 28: A shocking incident has come to light in Chandnapur police station limits of Puri district, where a minor dalit girl was allegedly subjected to an attempted sexual assault by her uncle.
According to the complaint filed by the victim’s family, the accused lured the girl by offering fruit and took her to nearby fish pond, where he attempted to assault her. The incident reportedly occurred in front of the victim's younger sister.
The family has further alleged that the accused inflicted physical torture on the minor and threatened to kill her if she revealed the matter to anyone.

case, recorded the statement of the survivor, and conducted a medical
examination.
