Gajapati, Oct 3: A man and his son went missing following a tragic landslide near Pekat village in Rayagada block of Gajapati district.
The victims were identified as Kartik Sabar and his son Rajik Sabar.
It is suspected that both individuals may be trapped beneath the debris. Rescue operations are underway, but no trace of the missing duo has been found yet.
The incident has also disrupted connectivity between Rayagada and nearby regions such as Nuagada and Ramanguda, as roads have been severely damaged by the landslide.
