Bhubaneswar, Dec 27: Chief Election Commissioner of India, Gyanesh Kumar, arrived in Bhubaneswar on Saturday for a three-day official and cultural tour of Odisha.
Upon arrival at Biju Patnaik International Airport, Kumar proceeded to Puri to seek blessings of Lord Jagannath. He is also scheduled to visit the Sun Temple at Konark later in the day.
On December 28, the CEC is scheduled to tour several
heritage and cultural sites, including Raghurajpur artisan village, Dhauli
Shanti Stupa, Khandagiri and Udayagiri caves, and the Mukteswar Temple in
Bhubaneswar.

The official leg of his visit will take place on December 29, when Kumar will preside over a meeting with booth-level officers at the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) auditorium at 3:00 pm. He is expected to address the officers on strengthening electoral processes.
Following the meeting, Kumar will depart from Bhubaneswar later that night.
