Bus Overturns Near Cuttack's Chaudwar, Passengers Escape Unhurt

Cuttack, Nov 27: Around 30 passengers had a narrow escape after the bus they were travelling in overturned near OTM Market in Chaudwar along National Highway 55.

According to reports, the incident occurred when the private bus named Pujarani was en route to Bhubaneswar from Angul.

Meanwhile, the driver lost control over the wheels and overturned near OTM Market. While several passengers escaped unhurt, one traveller reportedly, sustained minor injury.

The victim was immediately rescued and rushed to nearby hospital. Local residents rushed to the accident site and played a crucial role in rescuing the stranded passengers.

Their swift response ensured that the situation did not turn into a tragedy. Authorities are yet to confirm the exact cause of the accident, but eyewitnesses said the bus lost balance while negotiating a turn.
