Bomb Attack In Nayagarh After Failed Robbery Attempt, Three Seriously Injured

Nayagarh, Nov 12: At least three people sustained serious injuries in a bomb attack after a failed robbery attempt. The incident was reported in Solapata village under Bhatasahi Gram Panchayat, Nayagarh district, late Tuesday night.

 

According to reports, the explosion occurred when unidentified miscreants, unable to execute a planned robbery, resorted to hurling bombs at the site.

 

The injured victims were immediately rushed to the Nayagarh District Headquarters Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

 

Local resident Shukadeva Barik described the incident as “unprecedented and terrifying,” noting that the blast disrupted the otherwise peaceful village atmosphere.

Upon receiving the alert, Nayagarh Town Police swiftly reached the scene and initiated an investigation. One suspect has been detained for questioning, while others involved in the attack are reportedly on the run.
