Bhubaneswar, Nov 8: Actor Ashrumochan Mohanty escaped unhurt after his car met with an accident near Kalajhari Saipan Daya West Canal in Bhubaneswar.

The actor's vehicle plunged into the Daya West Canal near Kalajhari, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, in the early hours of Saturday.

According to initial reports, the accident was triggered by a sudden appearance of a dog on the road, causing the actor to lose control of the vehicle. Fortunately, the actor was unharmed and did not sustain any injuries.

Local authorities arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and the car was later retrieved from the Canal with assistance from emergency services.

The incident has sparked renewed concerns about stray animals on city roads and the need for improved safety measures to prevent such accidents.
