The actress, known for her roles in Balika Vadhu and Laagi Tujhse Lagan, reportedly began feeling unwell earlier this week.
Mumbai, Nov 6: Popular television actress Mahhi Vij has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after suffering from a high fever and severe weakness.

The development was confirmed by her publicist, Avantika Sinha, who stated that Mahhi is currently stable and undergoing medical tests to determine the cause of her illness.

The actress, known for her roles in Balika Vadhu and Laagi Tujhse Lagan, reportedly began feeling unwell earlier this week. On Thursday night, her team shared the update via social media, sparking concern among fans and fellow celebrities.

A photo of Mahhi lying in a hospital bed has also surfaced online, showing her wrapped in warm clothes and visibly fatigued.

“Mahhi has high fever and extreme weakness and has just been admitted to the hospital. The doctor will run tests now. Nothing beyond this can be confirmed just yet. She is stable, however,” said her publicist.

The health scare comes amid ongoing public speculation about Mahhi’s marriage with actor Jay Bhanushali. While neither party has officially commented on the rumors, Mahhi has previously emphasised the importance of self-reliance and mutual respect in relationships.

Despite the personal challenges, Mahhi is preparing for her television comeback in the upcoming show Seher Hone Ko Hai.

Fans have taken to social media to express their support and wish her a speedy recovery.

Further updates on her condition are awaited.
