Bhubaneswar, Oct 4: Odisha is likely to experience little change in weather conditions over the next three to four days, with hot and humid conditions expected to persist across the state, the regional centre of the India Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar forecast.
Daytime temperatures are currently remaining above 35°C in several places. According to the weather department's assessment, there is unlikely to be any major change in maximum daytime temperatures during the next three to four days.
However, temperatures may subsequently fall by around 2°C to 3°C.
Puri Records 35.8°C
In the last 24 hours, Puri recorded the highest maximum temperature at 35.8°C, followed by Bhubaneswar at 35.2°C and Cuttack at 34.8°C.
Daytime temperatures are currently remaining above 35°C in several places. According to the weather department's assessment, there is unlikely to be any major change in maximum daytime temperatures during the next three to four days.

Rain Likely In Four Districts
During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely at one or two places in Baleshwar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput and Malkangiri districts.
Weather is expected to remain mainly dry in the other districts, the IMD forecast.
On the following day, light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely at one or two places in Baleshwar, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati and Ganjam districts.
Other areas are expected to experience mainly dry weather.

A trough line extending from northeast Bihar to the northwest Bay of Bengal through Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal is currently active at around 0.9 km above mean sea level.
Under its influence, some districts of Odisha are likely to receive light to moderate rain or thundershowers over the next few days.
Southwest Monsoon Withdrawal Continues
The withdrawal of the southwest monsoon is continuing.
Weather conditions are likely to become favourable for further withdrawal from most parts of Maharashtra, some more areas of Chhattisgarh, and parts of Telangana and north interior Karnataka during the next two to three days.
A trough line extending from northeast Bihar to the northwest Bay of Bengal through Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal is currently active at around 0.9 km above mean sea level.
