Cuttack, Dec 6: The Commissionerate Police have announced full preparedness for the upcoming match between India and South Africa clast at Barabati Stadium. Ahead of the match, the state police have made three-tier security arrangements in and around the venue.
The match is slated to be held on December 9.
Police Commissioner S Debadatta Singh stated that stringent security arrangements have been put in place, including a three-tier security system to ensure the safety of players, officials, and spectators.
Due to an airline crisis, several players who were scheduled to arrive yesterday could not make it on time. However, some players have already reached, and the rest are expected to arrive as per the schedule.

The Commissionerate Police emphasised their vigilance
regarding safety and security measures. Yesterday, large crowds gathered to
purchase offline tickets, but the process was carried out peacefully and in an
orderly manner.

While many fans expressed disappointment at not being able to secure tickets, authorities have urged them to enjoy the match by watching it on television.
Police Commissioner Singh further clarified that no reports of ticket black-marketing have surfaced so far, but the department is keeping a close watch to prevent any such activity.
