According to AccuWeather, Nisshin has a 97 per cent chance of precipitation on Monday, putting both quarterfinals under a cloud. Pakistan are set to face Hong Kong, China in the first quarterfinal before India take on Afghanistan.
The Pakistan-Hong Kong, China game is scheduled to begin at 9 AM local time, which is 5:30 AM IST, while the India-Afghanistan clash is lined up to be held at 1:30 PM local time, which is 10 AM IST.

As per AccuWeather, there are 69% chances of precipitation at 8 AM local time, which goes to 70% at 9 AM, the scheduled start of the first QF. The rain chances stay at 49% at 10 AM (local), 75% at 11 AM and 71% at 12 noon.
The precipitation probability drops to 40 per cent at 1 pm local time, when the toss for the India-Afghanistan quarterfinal is scheduled, before standing at 34 per cent at 2 pm and 40 per cent at 3 pm. It then rises marginally to 58 per cent at 4 pm, followed by 49 per cent at 5 pm, 60 per cent at 6 pm and 49 per cent at 7 pm.
If rain forces the match to be abandoned, India and Pakistan would advance as the winners of their respective quarterfinals by virtue of their higher T20I rankings.
According to the ICC rankings, India are ranked No. 1 in T20Is, while Afghanistan are 10th. Pakistan occupy sixth place, with Hong Kong, China ranked 24th.
