New Delhi, Aug 17: BJP President Nitin Nabin Monday announced a sweeping overhaul of the party’s national leadership, unveiling a new team of office‑bearers whose appointments take immediate effect.

A party press release confirmed that Nabin has approved the new officebearers, marking a significant restructuring of the partys national framework.

Among the thirteen Vice Presidents are prominent leaders including former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat, and Ram Madhav.

The list also features Baijayant Jay Panda (Odisha), D. Purandeshwari (Andhra Pradesh), Rekha Verma (Uttar Pradesh), Varshaben Narendrabhai Doshi (Gujarat), Bharti Pravin Pawar (Maharashtra), Manpreet Singh Badal (Punjab), Lal Singh Arya (Madhya Pradesh), M. Nagaraja (Karnataka), Prof. Tariq Mansoor (Uttar Pradesh), and Madhuchandra Kar (West Bengal).

Former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and former Union Minister Smriti Irani have been named General Secretaries, alongside Vinod Tawde (Maharashtra), Sunil Bansal (Delhi), Satish Poonia (Rajasthan), Gajendra Patel (Madhya Pradesh), Harish Dwivedi (Uttar Pradesh), and Sanjay Bhatia (Haryana).

BL Santhosh continues as National General Secretary (Organisation), while Shivprakash (Mumbai) and Saudan Singh (Chandigarh) remain Joint General Secretaries (Organisation). Union Minister Piyush Goyal returns as Treasurer.

A larger group of sixteen leaders has been appointed National Secretaries. The list includes Kavita Patidar (Madhya Pradesh), K. This comprehensive reshuffle reflects Nabin’s effort to balance experience with regional representation, bringing together former chief ministers, union ministers, and emerging leaders into the BJP’s national leadership structure.
