Cuttack, Jan 11: A brutal murder has been reported from Cuttack's Khan Nagar area, where a youth was found brutally bludgeoned to death.


The deceased has identified as a resident of Telenga Bazar locality. He was working at a nearby fish market.


The youth’s body, with his head and face smashed, was found lying in a pool of blood by the roadside this morning.


Upon receiving the information, officers from Badambadi Police Station rushed to the spot and began their investigation. Forensic experts have also been called in to collect evidence from the crime scene.


The brutal killing has sent shockwaves through the local community.


While the exact motive behind the crime remains unclear, police suspect that previous enmity may have played a role.


The incident occurred late on Saturday night, drawing immediate attention from residents who alerted authorities.
