Bhawanipatna, Jul 10: Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest producer of aluminium, has strengthened digital learning infrastructure in Odisha’s Kalahandi district with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Computer Lab at DAV International School, Lanjigarh. Equipped with 80 new desktop computers, the upgraded facility is said to benefit over 1,400 students and 60 teachers, enhancing access to technology-driven learning and supporting students with critical digital skills required in an increasingly innovation-driven world.

As digital literacy becomes increasingly central to academic success and future employability, access to modern learning infrastructure remains critical, particularly in emerging industrial regions. To strengthen the school’s digital ecosystem, Vedanta Aluminium has advanced the laboratory with 80 Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO 3 All-in-One desktops. The upgraded facility will support computer education, coding, digital research, and technology-enabled learning, while providing students with hands-on exposure to modern tools and platforms.

Speaking on the occasion, Pranab Kumar Bhattacharyya, CEO- Alumina Business, VAML, Lanjigarh, said, “Access to quality education and digital resources is essential for preparing young minds for the future. The upgraded Computer Lab reflects our commitment to providing world-class digital infrastructure, meaningful learning opportunities, and access to advanced technological skills.”
