Argus News - Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Joins Hanuman Jayanti Festivities in Sambalpur

Sambalpur, Apr 15: On the auspicious occasion of Maha Vishuba Sankranti and Hanuman Jayanti, the city of Sambalpur was immersed in a spiritual atmosphere as Union Minister and MP Dharmendra Pradhan participated in grand processions and devotional programs across the city.

Speaking at the celebrations, Pradhan emphasised that Hanuman Jayanti is not merely a religious festival but an inseparable part of Odisha’s cultural and spiritual heritage.

The Minister joined devotees in various processions and spiritual programs across the city. He was particularly delighted to see children dressed as Hanuman during the processions, interacting warmly with them.

Addressing the media, Pradhan remarked, “Hanuman Jayanti in Sambalpur carries a unique identity across Odisha. The devotional environment and social harmony here are unparalleled. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to participate in the spiritual programs organized by different committees today.”

Joining the massive processions across Sambalpur’s streets, Pradhan extended greetings to the people and prayed to Lord Hanuman for the happiness, prosperity, and welfare of all. He also lauded the organizing committees and devotees for preserving Sambalpur’s traditions and cultural legacy.

During his visit, the Minister offered prayers at several Hanuman temples, including Burla Gaudapali, Vivekananda Chhak, Hirakud Lariapada, Debeipali Sriramayani, and Bamra Gobindpur.
