Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who attended the inaugural day of the celebrations as the chief guest, toured the venue, visited various stalls, and interacted warmly with participants and visitors, appreciating the diverse showcase of Odisha’s culture and traditions.
On this occasion, Argus Digital Editor Sangram Sarangi interacted with Union Minister Pradhan. He posed a series of questions, to which the Minister responded, sharing his thoughts on Odia identity, the vision for Odisha’s future, and the growing significance of Odisha Parba in the national capital.
When asked how he feels as an Odia when people gather in Delhi, Dharmendra Pradhan explained that the festival’s main purpose is to showcase Odisha’s traditions and culture to the national capital. With Odia dance, music, textiles, handloom, handicrafts, and food on display, he said it was a wonderful experience.
