Koraput, Dec 19: A speeding truck rammed into multiple vehicles near the Regional Transport Office (RTO) on National Highway-26 in Koraput's Sunabeda due to alleged brake failure.
According to reports, the truck lost control over the wheels and rammed into two four-wheelers, before crashing into at least eight motorcycles. Later, the vehicle dashed into an electric pole, leaving the driver severely injured.
The driver of one of the four-wheelers also sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Koraput District Medical College and Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, all eight motorcycles were completely damaged in the collision.

✨Soon after the incident, police from Koraput Sadar station
and fire service personnel reached the spot.

Efforts are underway to clear the wreckage and restore normal traffic flow on the highway.
On the other hand, authorities have initiated further investigation into the incident.
