Kataka, Sep 18: A single-window system for obtaining necessary NOCs and permissions for Durga Puja committees in Kataka has started from today, allowing organisers to submit applications for multiple clearances at one place instead of visiting different government offices.
The facility has been set up at Barabati Palace and will remain operational for four days -- September 18, 19, 20 and 21 -- from 10 am to 5 pm. The initiative has been introduced by the district administration to facilitate faster processing of the required permissions and NOCs for Puja committees.
Multiple Clearances Under One Roof
Through the single-window facility, Puja committees can submit applications and documents related to permissions from the tehsil office, RTO, R&B, police, Fire Services and other concerned departments.
The facility will also cover structural safety certificates, fire safety certificates, electrical safety certificates and permissions from the Kataka Municipal Corporation. Fees required for sound boxes and processing-related requirements can also be deposited through the system.
