Cuttack, Aug 31: Celebrated Odia music director Abhijit Majumdar has been admitted to a private hospital in the CDA area of Cuttack following a serious health condition.
According to reports, Majumdar has been undergoing treatment for the past five days, and his condition remains critical.
Doctors have revealed that the composer’s health deteriorated due to a significant drop in sodium and potassium levels in his body. He is currently under close observation and receiving intensive care.
Abhijit Majumdar is a household name in Odisha’s music industry, having composed over 700 songs for Odia and Sambalpuri films and albums. His work in popular films like Love Story, Sister Sridevi, and Golmaal Love has earned him widespread acclaim.
