Earlier in the day, the President travelled by a special train from Bhubaneswar to Brahmapur before proceeding by road to Taptapani. Elaborate security arrangements were put in place, with no-fly zones declared over Brahmapur Railway Station, the temple complex, the Army Air Defence College at Golabandha, and other designated venues. The President is scheduled to halt for the night at the Army Air Defence College.

✨The visit comes a day after President Murmu inaugurated the Jagadguru
Kripalu University at Cuttack. Addressing the gathering, she emphasised that
universities must create an environment where young people can develop their
talents and realise their aspirations. She underlined the responsibility of
higher education institutions in shaping citizens guided by integrity,
discipline, sensitivity, and a commitment to national interest.
