Bhubaneswar, Oct 31: In a significant development in the Pitabash Panda murder case, the prime accused, former Berhampur Mayor Shiv Shankar Dash, popularly known as Pintu Dash, has been transferred to Phulbani jail, citing heightened security concerns.

According to reports, Pintu Dash was shifted from Berhampur Jail to Phulbani Jail.

Authorities made the decision following intelligence inputs and internal assessments indicating potential threats to Das’s safety at his previous detention facility.

The transfer was executed under tight security to ensure no disruption or risk during transit. Pintu Dash is the prime suspect in the high-profile murder of Pitabash Panda.
