Argus News - PhD Student Dies In Accident Inside IIT Bhubaneswar Campus

Bhubaneswar, Jan 13: A tragic accident occurred inside the IIT Bhubaneswar campus, claiming the life of a PhD student and leaving another critically injured.


According to reports, the incident took place when the victims on a motorcycle lost balance and rammed into a divider within the campus premises. The impact proved fatal for one of the riders, a PhD scholar, while the other sustained severe injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment.


Authorities at IIT Bhubaneswar confirmed the accident and stated that immediate medical assistance was provided.


The mishap has cast a pall of gloom over the campus community, with students and faculty mourning the untimely loss.
