Puri, Sep 19: The registration process for the annual Habishyali camp in Puri has officially begun, with devotees now able to apply online through the Odisha government’s portal-- edistrict.odisha.gov.in.
The camp, organised during the sacred Kartik month, offers spiritual accommodation and services to widows and elderly married women observing religious rituals.
This year, priority will be given to first-time applicants. The registration link will remain active only until the available slots—limited to 2,500 participants—are filled.
Applicants must meet eligibility criteria, including age and physical fitness, and complete the process online to be considered.
Registered Habishyalis will receive free lodging, daily Mahaprasad, and exclusive access to Jagannath Temple darshan. Accommodation will be arranged at designated centers such as Brundabati Niwas, Bagala Dharmasala, and other facilities managed by the district administration.
