Bhubaneswar, Dec 5: Odisha is set for colder nights over the next two days, with the minimum (night) temperature expected to fall by 2 to 3°C, the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar, said in its latest bulletin. After this brief dip, no major change in night temperatures is expected across the state.
Forecast and Warnings
Dry weather is likely to continue statewide for the next seven days.
A Yellow Warning for dense fog has been issued for Friday and Saturday for one or two places in:
Sundargarh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Koraput, Jharsuguda, Balangir and Subarnapur districts.
Temperature Outlook
Minimum temperature: Very likely to fall by 2–3°C over the next two days, then remain stable.
Maximum temperature: No significant changes reported.
Bhubaneswar Forecast
For the next 24 hours, the capital region will witness fog or mist in the morning, followed by a partly cloudy sky.
Maximum temperature: Around 30°C
Minimum temperature: Around 15°C
No warnings have been issued for fishermen along the Odisha coast for the next five days.
Dry weather prevailed across Odisha on Thursday, while dense fog was reported in Kandhamal and Sundargarh and shallow to moderate fog in parts of Subarnapur, Koraput, Kalahandi and Jharsuguda districts. The lowest minimum temperature recorded in the plains was 10.9°C at Jharsuguda, while the highest maximum stood at 31.2°C in Bargarh.

The IMD has advised citizens to stay updated through official channels and use the Mausam, Meghdoot and Damini apps for local weather forecasts and alerts.
