Rayagada, Sep 19: In a major crackdown, Odisha Vigilance officials on Friday carried simultaneous raids at the residence and office of Forest Ranger of Kashipur block.

According to reports, two distinct teams carried out coordinated raids on properties linked to officer Antaryami Sahu.

In addition to the ranger’s home and office, vigilance teams reportedly searched other locations linked to Sahu.

Officials have confirmed that the searches are aimed at uncovering evidence related to financial misconduct and possible corruption.

The operation is still underway, and further details are expected following the completion of the verification process.

Antaryami Sahu currently serves as the Forest Ranger in the Kashipur range, a sensitive zone known for its ecological significance and tribal population.
