government is set to host a special two-day event on November 10 and 11 to mark
Millet Day, highlighting the state’s commitment to promoting millet
cultivation, consumption, and awareness. The program will feature a series of
activities aimed at showcasing the nutritional and ecological benefits of
millets, which have been a staple in traditional farming systems.
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will attend the event as the chief guest, underscoring the central government’s support for millet-based initiatives.
