Bhubaneswar, Oct 14: As Diwali approaches, the Odisha State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB) has released its official guidelines to regulate firecracker usage and minimise environmental impact.
According to the directive, citizens will be allowed to burst firecrackers only between 7 PM and 9 PM on Diwali night.
The board has strongly recommended the use of green firecrackers, which are designed to emit less pollution and reduce health hazards.
