Investigations revealed that forged documents were used to open multiple current accounts under the names Trideep Traders Pvt Ltd and Trideep Technologies Pvt Ltd in Trisulia.

These accounts were allegedly provided to cyber criminals for commission. Police said Mohanty ran the network with support from Pradeep Kumar Sarangi and Sumanta Mahalik.

Significantly, ₹15 lakh from the complainant’s money was traced to the Trideep Traders account, which is linked to cyber frauds worth nearly ₹3.84 crore nationwide. The account has been flagged in 23 complaints on the NCRP portal.

Police have arrested the three accused and produced them in court. Further investigation is underway to identify other members of the network and trace the flow of funds across multiple accounts.
