Bhubaneswar, Aug 25: The Department of Higher Education, Odisha, has officially launched the second phase of admissions for Plus Two (Class 11) streams and undergraduate (UG) programmes across the state, Officials said on Monday.
The initiative aims to accommodate students who missed the initial round or are seeking better options through revised merit lists and spot admissions.
According to the official sources, the +2 admission process will run from August 25 to August 31, during which students can apply to various higher secondary schools and junior colleges. The merit list will be released on September 4, followed by the enrollment window from September 6 to 10. Students will then participate in choice locking on September 12 and 13, allowing them to finalize their preferred institutions. A spot admission round is scheduled for September 17, offering one last opportunity for eligible candidates to secure seats.
