New Delhi/Bhubaneswar, Aug 7: Odisha and Madhya Pradesh joined hands in a landmark clean energy partnership, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the 7th CII International Energy Conference & Exhibition in New Delhi on Friday, officials said.
The agreement marks a significant step in India’s green growth journey, fostering cooperation in renewable energy, technology transfer, and knowledge sharing.
A Strategic Alliance
The MoU between Odisha’s Energy Department and Madhya Pradesh’s New and Renewable Energy Department (MPNRED) sets a framework for collaboration in solar, wind, hybrid technologies, energy efficiency, and conservation. Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo described the pact as a “monumental milestone” in regional cooperation for clean energy transition.
