Bhubaneswar/ New Delhi: In a significant development for Odisha’s administrative presence in the national capital, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to receive a new official residence in New Delhi. Located at 2 Teen Murti Lane, the new house will serve as his accommodation during official visits to the national capital, officials said on Tuesday.
A Shift from Temporary to Permanent
Until now, CM Majhi had been staying at Ashoka Hotel during his Delhi visits due to the demolition of Odisha Bhavan. With the new residence nearing completion, this arrangement will soon change. The new premises are being constructed with dedicated quarters for staff and security personnel, ensuring a secure and functional environment for the Chief Minister’s stay.

Ready After Diwali
According to the official sources, the new house will be handed over to the Odisha government after Diwali.
