Bhadrak, Apr 17: Famous Odia jatra actor Rudranarayan Mishra has sustained severe injuries after the car he was in was hit by a speeding truck from behind near Nalanga Court Square on National Highway 16 in Bhadrak district.
According to reports, Dhauli Gananatya actor Rudranarayan had performed with his theatre troupe at Pirahat in Bhadrak and was on his way to home. Meanwhile, he parked his car near Nalanga Court Square and rested inside. At that time, a speeding truck rammed into the rear of his vehicle, causing severe damage.
The impact left Rudranarayan seriously injured. The actor sustained injuries to his hands, back, and other parts of his body.
Local police from the rural station rushed to the spot after receiving information, rescued the actor in critical condition, and admitted him to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital.
