Kalahandi, Jan 13: Tension gripped Rupraroad village in Kalahandi district after Maoist posters were discovered in a warehouse of a local businessman.
According to reports, the warehouse belonging to a local businessman and contractor Dinesh Kumar Agrawal, located behind the village high school, was targeted with posters pasted on its walls. Besides, some stored materials were also set on fire.
The incident came to light early Tuesday morning when villagers noticed the damage and immediately alerted the Narla Fire Department and local police.
Firefighters and police personnel rushed to the site, doused the flames, and initiated a probe into the matter.
Authorities are examining the Maoist posters and investigating the motive behind the attack.
