The system is likely to remain over the region initially before intensifying and moving west-northwestwards.

Sahu also said the system was expected to strengthen into a depression, then a deep depression, before potentially developing into a cyclonic storm.

However, the system’s projected development remains a forecast, and its eventual intensity and movement will depend on subsequent meteorological observations and updates.

North Andhra, South Odisha Coasts In Focus
Sahu indicated that the system may move towards the north Andhra Pradesh coast and adjoining parts of southern Odisha after developing into a cyclonic storm.

The system is expected to intensify further over the two days following October 26, according to the forecast provided.

The projected track and intensity will be important in determining the potential impact on coastal districts of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. Further details on rainfall, wind speeds and any district-specific warnings should be based on subsequent official IMD bulletins.

Residents are advised to follow official weather updates and alerts rather than treat the forecast development as confirmation that a cyclone will make landfall in Odisha.
