A Kendrapada land dispute turned violent as a brother attacked his four sisters, leaving three injured and one critical. Police investigation intensifies after prior complaints of property conflict.

Kendrapada, Oct 24: A family land dispute escalated into violence in Rasulpur’s Kazisahi village under Aali police station, leaving three sisters injured, one of them critically.

According to reports, Abdul Wahid Khan and his wife allegedly attacked his four sisters — Samsara Bibi, Samiyaar Bibi, Yahara Bibi, and Afsana Begum — with sharp weapons and wooden sticks over ancestral property disagreements.

The sisters alleged that their brother and sister‑in‑law not only assaulted them but also damaged their mobile phones and threatened to eliminate them to deny their rightful share of property.

Yahara Bibi, the eldest, suffered a severe head injury after being struck with a sharp weapon. When the other sisters protested, they too were attacked.

Local residents rushed the injured women to Aali Community Health Centre. Doctors referred Yahara Bibi to Kendrapada District Hospital due to her critical condition, while the other three remain under treatment at Aali CHC.

Police sources confirmed that the sisters had lodged a complaint regarding the land dispute just two days earlier. Authorities are investigating the matter, and further action is expected.
