Sonepur, Jan 15: A major fire broke out at the Mass Bio Fuel Company in Panimora, Tarbha block of Sonepur district, causing significant damage to property.


According to reports, the blaze originated in the dryer unit of the plant, quickly engulfing stored materials before fire services arrived at the scene.


On being informed, firefighters rushed to the spot and managed to bring the flames under control after several hours of effort.


Though the fire destroyed goods worth lakhs of rupees, officials confirmed that all workers present at the site were safe and no casualties were reported.


The cause of the fire has not yet been officially established.


Preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit may have triggered the incident, though authorities are continuing to probe the matter.


Local residents gathered near the site as the fire spread, raising concerns about safety and the extent of losses.
