Sambalpur, Apr 21: A heartwarming ceremony under the CM Kanya Bibaha Yojana was held today at Aditya Kalyan Mandap in Dhanupali, Sambalpur, where 22 couples entered into matrimony with government support. The event was marked by a special video message from Union Education Minister and Sambalpur MP Dharmendra Pradhan, who extended his blessings and congratulations to the newly weds.

In his message, Pradhan emphasized that women’s dignity and empowerment remain a top priority for the “double engine government.” He described the scheme as more than just a welfare initiative, calling it “a unique example of affection, emotion, and responsibility.” He added that the program reflects the sensitivity of governance and the government’s commitment to service-oriented administration.
