Anugola, Oct 7: Sambalpur MP Dharmendra Pradhan joined the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ in Anugola on Wednesday and led a massive foot march organised as part of the ‘Seva Jyoti Sthapana’ programme. The event was organised to mark 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedicated public service, good governance and development journey.
During the programme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the people of the country virtually. After listening to the Prime Minister’s address, Pradhan said the ‘Seva Yatra’ that PM Modi began after taking oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, has today shown a new direction of development to the entire country.
He said the trust and dedication of the people are the Prime Minister’s greatest strength. Pradhan said India has emerged as a self-reliant and strong nation on the global stage by working not merely for personal positions, but with the spirit of ‘Nation First’ and a mission-oriented approach.
‘We Will Do It’ Confidence Mantra
Pradhan said the Prime Minister has given the people a new confidence mantra, “We Will Do It”.

Pradhan said the completion of 25 years of public service and good governance by the Prime Minister is a matter of pride for all Indians.
He said people must embrace the Prime Minister’s ‘Seva Mantra’ and the spirit of ‘Swadeshi’ to turn the vision of a 'Viksit Odisha' (Developed Odisha) and 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) into reality.
On the occasion, Pradhan prayed to Mahaprabhu and Maa Samalei for the Prime Minister’s long life.

He said the foot march was not merely a walking programme, but a strong resolve towards public participation and nation-building.

As part of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, Pradhan visited the Anganwadi Centre at Turanga in Anugola district and spent time with children, Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers and beneficiaries. A collective pledge was taken there for child protection, maternal welfare, cleanliness and de-addiction.
Pradhan said the proper nutrition, care and bright future of children can be ensured only when government schemes are complemented by active participation from society.
“Our next generation is the real foundation of Viksit Odisha by 2036 and Viksit Bharat by 2047,” he said.
Pradhan said the double-engine government is committed to ensuring better health for children and maternal safety under the guidance of the Prime Minister.
